Meaghan Gallagher is a Maryland native who grew up in Severna Park, MD. She swam for 13 years with the Annapolis Swim Club and competed collegiately at Towson University. Meaghan previously served as the Head Coach of the Old Mill Swim Team for two years and believes that summer swim team should be a fun, supportive, and positive experience for all swimmers. She is a registered nurse and lives in Annapolis with her husband and three children.
Rob joins the Mustangs as assistant coach. Rob grew up in Cleveland, OH and swam collegiately at Mount Union College. Rob has been a swim coach the last 20 years, the past 16 at the Naval Academy. He worked with National Champion teams and Olympians at Auburn University and coached multiple NCAA qualifiers and Olympic Trial qualifiers for the Women’s team at Navy. He lives in Hunt Meadow and his two boys, Cameron & Grady, swim for HMST.
Riley is a graduate of St. Mary's High School and is attending the University of Maryland with a major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. She swam for thirteen years and this is her fourth year coaching for Hunt Meadow.
Reese is a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. This is her fourth year coaching but she was the longest member of HMST with 14 years! She also played volleyball and swam for St Mary’s. She is attending Penn State University and is studying nursing.
I am a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, where I competed as a swimmer, and I am attending the United States Naval Academy as a chemistry major.
I have been swimming with the Hunt Meadow Swim Team since I was 6 years old, and this summer will be my fourth year coaching.
My favorite part of coaching is watching swimmers put in their best effort and challenge themselves each day.
Hi, I am Quinn and I am a junior at Saint Mary’s High School. I am looking forward to being a junior coach because I love seeing everyone grow throughout the year and love to see their reactions when they improve!
Hello my name is Collin Hutzell and I am a junior at Archbishop Spalding high school and have been coaching for the past 2 years and can’t wait to keep coaching. I have been a part of the team for as long as I can remember and love seeing this community grow every year.
I am a freshman at Gonzaga college high school. I used to go St. Mary’s Elementary. I am looking forward to being a junior coach because I have loved to swim since I could talk and cannot wait to help out on the team I have swam with since I was four. My favorite part about swim team is that I love to spend time with my friends at practices and meets.
Saige is finishing up her senior year at South River High School, where she has excelled both in and out of the pool. A state swimming championship qualifier and pole vaulter, Saige will be attending West Virginia University next year. With a lifelong love for the water, she has been a summer swimmer since the age of 4 and joined the Hunt Meadow Swim Team last year.
Saige has also been an assistant coach since she was 12 years old, gaining years of experience helping younger swimmers build confidence, improve their technique, and enjoy the sport. Her passion for swimming and positive attitude have made her a valuable role model both in and out of the pool.
Saige is excited to continue working with swimmers this season and looks forward to bringing energy, leadership, and encouragement to the team all summer long.
My name is Stella Conroy and this is my first year being a Junior Swim Coach! I’m 14 years old and have been swimming with Hunt Meadow since I was 8. I swim year-round for Annapolis Swim Club and I am attending Severn School for high school. I’ve broken 3 records for Hunt Meadow. I can’t wait to help your children make fun memories this summer and years to come.
Lucia Burman is a rising freshman in the IB program at Annapolis High School. Having played many sports including basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and tennis, swimming has brought her the most joy and discipline throughout her ten years on various teams. Lucia is excited for her first year as a junior coach and the opportunity to make an impact on her community.
I'm finishing up my Freshman Year at St. Mary's High School. I have participated in the cross-country, swimming, and track teams this year. I was on the Hunt Meadow swim team when I was little, then rejoined and have been participating for the last 4 years. I'm so very excited to start coaching as well as swimming on the swim team this year. I can't wait for the season to start!
Jordan is a rising 9th grader at Annapolis High School, this is her 10th year on the Hunt Meadow Swim Team. She I also plays lacrosse for Broadneck Club Lacrosse and Softball for south river youths athletics. Jordan loves working with kids and the swim team environment overall!
